A strategy that adds some variety
Let's talk a bit about some of the betting variety on Craps. This bet alone has no advantage but added with others it can bring some good excitement and nice odds in your way.
The field bets are only good for one roll, so don't forget this. It isn't like Passlines bets.
With these onetime roll bets you lose your bet if the number rolled out is other then 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12.
Statistically the chances of the remaining numbers (5, 6, 7 and 8) to be rolled out are a chance of 20 times compared to the field numbers that has only 16 times.
Streak is what guide any bet, if you see a positive streak you should take a chance and bet more and of course, if you see a negative strake coming you bet less.
If the field is the way for you, then it is imperative that you determine when it's the time to increase or decrease your bet. The best way to do this is by determining goals for win and losses. For example if your stake is $300 your starting unit should be $5 on the field and you must stop making bet when you win or lose 30% of your stake ($100).
For this to work you can't miss any bet on the field. So Never miss a bet, make the dealer know that you are betting always.
Remember that each unit of yours is $5, so to do this you need to increase your bet in one unit when you win and if you lose just decrease the unit (each at a time).
Your strategy has the limit of $100, so if you find that the combination of the chips on the table plus the winnings in your pocket reached $100, STOP playing.
The hop bet lets you win on a combination of numbers, this bet was "created" by Winston The Hopper Smith and was named hop bet due to his name Hopper.
The hop bet is a good way to make a good win, but for that it must be done in the most correctly way possible. Let's say that you "feel" that in the next roll the dice will present a 3 and a 2, in order to make the hop bet you need to 3+2 hopping, if your instinct are correct and you win, your payout will be 15:1. If you are wrong and get any other combination different than this then you lose. In numbers that we are playing ($5 a unit) you'll win $75.
There is a way to increase this payout and for that you need to bet hop hard way.
Let's say that you believe that a 6 and a 6 will come out and you bet hard ways if you win you can make $150 as a profit instead of $75!
These bets will add some excitement to the game and give you another way to win and hopefully make some profit in the process.
